certificate course will add value to their qualification and help the students in getting good job", conveyed by the President of the program, Prof. Vishnu Ganapathi Bhat, Principal, Vivekananda college of Arts, Science & Commerce (Autonomous), Puttur. 
"Education is not learning of facts but of training the mind to think. Academic syllabus are just exam oriented and gives general knowledge about various subjects. Add-on courses will help the students to get practical knowledge and expertise in certain areas of their studies. The idea behind introducing certificate course in financial markets is to give an insight into the basics of stock market trading", Ms.Rekha.P, HOD, Department of Business Administration added as an introductory note.
Followed by session in the topic - Stock Markets ,by the inaugurator,Mr. Umesh Nayak,owner of Sriram shares, Puttur. He spoke about the golden rules of stock market and shared about starting up of investment in shares.
