Day 6# "FLUENT TALKING DAY" - "SAMARTHA-2022" One Week Capacity Building Workshop.

In the event of "SAMARTHA-2022," a One Week Capacity Building Workshop, organised by Department of Business Administration, in association with IQAC. The Sixth day with the theme "FLUENT TALKING DAY", a session on "Professional Communication" was led by Sri. Balakrishna H., Assistant Professor & HOD, Department of English, Vivekananda College of Arts, Science & Commerce, (Autonomous), Puttur.

According to Mr. Balakrishna, effective communication requires a blend of 10% words, 30% tone and tuning, and 60% body language. He indicates that only by properly combining these parts in the right ratio can one succeed in communication.

He claims that a language's user is an engineer or architect. To ensure that right language is used in communication, one should properly organise their ideas and employ grammar and intelligent usage.

His distinctive tasks, such as self introductions and role plays, pushed students to participate actively throughout the lesson. He offered some suggestions for honing language abilities and for making conversation more professional.
