Day 4# "ASPIRATION DAY" - "SAMARTHA-2022" One Week Capacity Building Workshop.
In the event of "SAMARTHA-2022," a One Week Capacity Building Workshop, organised by Department of Business Administration, in association with IQAC. The Fourth day with the theme "ASPIRATION DAY", a session on "Goal Setting, Values & Ethics" was led by Ms. Lakshmi V. Bhat, Assistant Professor, P.G. Dept. of Commerce, Vivekananda College of Arts, Science & Commerce, (Autonomous), Puttur.
She said in her session that "life without goals is like a race with no finish line; you're just running to nowhere." She argued that having a happy happy life is the ultimate goal of every human being, so regardless of the job or position one chooses, at the end of the day, one must be content with his or her lot in life. According to her, a happy life can only be framed through financial independence, a satisfying and rewarding career, good values, and ethical behavior.
Since of her 24 years of extensive teaching experience, her session was judged to be more effective because she was able to effectively convey the topic of aspiration, values, ethics, and goals to the students in a very effective and efficient manner.
The students learned the significance of having a goal in life as well as the prerequisites of ethics and values for every human being from her session, which was judged to be beneficial and helpful.-Dept. Report Committee.
